Greene King en Meriden

“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“Sadly we stayed only for one night, the room was comfortable, clean and not much noise. Friendly staff and there is a bar- restaurant with plenty of choises, what we tried for dinner was good and breakfast was also nice. Free parking and WiFi.”

“Felicidades por los empleados y el trato amable y atento de todos los que trabajan allí.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful, and bar and restaurant area pleasant, cozy and welcoming. The rooms are pretty basic and could do with some minor maintenance, but are clean and tidy, and good value for money. A good choice of breakfast items, and we had two evening meals which were great. Our waiter Sam was especially friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking”

“The staff at check in were lovely. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I did not sleep very well as the pipes were so loud. We were on the ground floor...when anyone on the floors above used their bathroom, then all the pipes made loud noises and would wake me up. If this could be fixed, then this place would be perfect.”

“El lugar es lindo. Es aceptable. Ideal para pasar la noche de paso para luego seguir a otro lugar.”

“Although in an older building, it is obvious the owners have made an effort to keep the rooms updated. Well decorated and appointed large room with large en suite. bath. Friendly service at check-in and at breakfast.”
