“Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!”

“A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.”

“Our stay was generally good. A couple of comments. Our hot tap in Room 8 was stuck and not working and the plug sockets were strangely placed in room meaning the kettle could only be operated balanced on a chair or inside the cupboard.”

“Great breakfasts. Clean room with everything needed including hairdryer and large closet with drawers and hanging bar. Friendly and helpful people. Simon is very helpful and cooks well. Well stocked bar with a great atmosphere. If you like, you can see the large German shepherd who likes everyone. It's in a quiet and peaceful village next to a small convenience store. Easy to get to the A14. Good TV channel choice . Hope to stay there again. It's worth a walk in the village. Breakfast is a lot...
