It is in the middle of everything !!!

the rio overall wasn’t bad like some of the reviews say they are, i really thought the rooms were fine. i stayed in an older room and it was clean but outdated. i felt like the check in process was confusing, they had kiosks but they didn’t work so we ended up staying in line for 45 minutes just to get checked in, also they had an automated AI person on the phone that made it really difficult to talk to a real person. once things got sorted out they were fine. i will say that the rideshare pick up is easy to navigate and straightforward unlike some hotels, they also had pretty cheap and good drinks when you got the rio rewards card. we had a $3 cocktail and $5 jack and coors. even though it is off strip most rides were anywhere from 5-15 minutes to get places and really isn’t that far out of the way. if you don’t want to be right in the crowds i think this is the perfect place to stay for a cheap room.
