Excellent location for an overnight stop enroute to Denmark and with the bonus of a great view overlooking the Kiel Canal. The staff were some of the friendliest and helpful we have met on our travels.

Excellent Hotel.

A lovely hotel with excellent room and on immaculate condition. Only one thing could have made our stay better and that would have been a kettle. The staff were excellent, in particular the breakfast staff who were excellent!

Nice location

Hotel was ok! Nice location along the Kiel channel with a good restaurant at the hotel overlooking the channel. We stayed in a room in the older part of the hotel. Some basic stuff, like a water boiler was missing. One of the receptionists was also very unfriendly and did not bother to greet the guests.

The location next to the pedestrian/bike tunnel and on the canal was wonderful. A lovely corner room with a view of the ships. We appreciated the bike garage. The service at dinner was very,very slow. Over an hour before we received our drinks. No other hotel or restaurant on our trip was so slow.

Gefallen hat mir die Lage direkt am NOK. Bei den höherpreisigen Zimmern mit Kanalblick kann man den Kanal abhängig von den großen Bäumen zwischen Hotel und Kanal auch teilweise ganz gut sehen. Das Personal war freundlich, aber vor allem im Frühstücksraum bei stärkerem Ansturm der Gäste zu den Stoßzeiten extrem überfordert mit dem Abräumen der Tische und dem Auffüllen des Buffets (dies vor allem auch wegen der langen Wege in die Hauptküche des Restaurants). Nicht gefallen hat mir aber vor allem, dass einige der Annehmlichkeiten, die ich noch aus meinem letzten Aufenthalt im Vorjahr kannte, unter dem neuen Betreiber des Hotels (das wurde in diversen Gesprächen mit dem Personal als Grund genannt) ersatzlos gestrichen wurden. Hier einige Beispiele: Gratis Minibar-Befüllung bei Verzicht auf die Zimmerreinigung bei mehrtägigem Aufenthalt - abgeschafft. Süßigkeiten-Buffet mit Haribo-Spezialitäten im Frühstücksraum zur Mitnahme als kleiner Snack für den Tag - abgeschafft. Sonntags Sekt-Frühstück - abgeschafft. Defekte Minibar-Kühlschränke auf den Zimmern werden nicht mehr ersetzt, sondern dann einfach ausgebaut - also abgeschafft. Deshalb mein Hinweis an den neuen Betreiber des Hotels: Sparmaßnahmen zu Lasten der Kundenzufriedenheit zahlen sich oft nicht aus, weil die Gäste dann eher nicht noch mal kommen.

Hotel top, Zimmerservice nicht existent, Frühstückspersonal hoffnungslos überfordert , Weltweite Besonderheit: (habe ich erst auf Nachfrage erfahren, nachdem mein Zimmer nicht aufgeräumt war: "Be uns müssen Sie das grüne Schild raushängen, sonst kommt niemand zum Roomservice - das hat man Ihnen ja auch auch beim Check-in gesagt" Hmm: Nee, hat man nicht, man merkt erst Abends, dass das Zimmer nicht aufgeräumt wurde und die auf dem Boden liegenden Handtücher nicht getauscht wurden, sondern immer noch da liegen ... Not o.k., insbesondere, wenn man am Telefon dann noch daraufhin zurechtgewiesen wird, dass man ja schließlich ein Upgrade bekommen hätte! (hat beim Check-in allerdings auch niemand erwähnt ???) Immer diese undankbaren Gäste, wollen dann trotzdem noch das Zimmer gemacht bekommen, gel?

Vi sluttede vores påske ferie på Convent Garten i Rendsburg. Lækkert hotel med alle de faciliteter, vi kunne ønske. Store fælles områder, hvor man sagtens kunne sidde, hvis man er flere sammen. Fantastisk beliggenhed lige ned til Nord Ost See kanalen og lige ved siden af fodgænger tunnelen under kanalen. Roligt kvarter. Alle de ansatte er venlige og tjenstvillige. Lækker morgenmad

Lækkert men slidt hotel

Virkelig et skønt hotel med den bedste beliggenhed. Morgenmadsområdet er lidt badehotels agtigt, super hyggeligt. God service både i receptionen og i restauranten. Hotellet ser dog ret slidt ud fra parkeringspladsen mod bysiden og brusekabinen kunne også trænge til en opfrisker. Værelserne har en god størrelse, men både senge og puder kunne være bedre. Men alt i alt et rigtig fint hotel.
