If you never been here its rural and rather dark at night. Have a game plan or make sure you have GPS on your phone. Other than that, no complaints. Nice quiet area.

Our home town. Love the Fox River and chain of lakes. Wonderful view of the river at the Waterfront Hotel.

I grew up here, so none of it was really new to me. We did make sure to stop at our food places while we were there; Plum Garden, Portillos, Happy Jacks for the Ice cream, and Lou Malnati’s for the best Chicago style pizza.
