“Great pub/hotel and the family room we booked was very spacious, tea and coffee available in room with biscuits and bottled water in a fridge. wifi had good signal and easy to connect to although no usb points in the room. Plenty of sockets though including by the beds. Shower was powerful and hot and tubes of soap/shampoo also supplied. “Selected Wheatsheaf based on location travelling from Scotland to South Coast. We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna”

It was really easy to take a bus to the Chester Bus Station and walk a few minutes to the Chester train station to go to Liverpool for the day. The staff and everyone we met were so friendly.”
