“A very pleasant stay, the place is very quiet, accessible and with a huge parking lot. The staff was very helpful. We loved the restaurant with a great variety of dishes, which we enjoyed as much as we could in our short stay. The room, cozy and comfortable.”

“Lovely hotel by the sea We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. “Met by overwhelming smell of air freshener which was clearly meant to cover up something possibly fresh paint. Made it a bit difficult to sleep normally. Then shower collapsed into itself but too late in evening to get fixed. Could not shower in the morning and receptionist not remotely interested when we informed him. No hint of recompense for not having a basic requirement of any hotel. Unbelievably disappointing experience”
