“Lift out of order and as I am not able to walk far was a disadvantage Room far too hot some rooms had a fan but not ours. Bathroom door would not close which needed adjustment”

“I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. “We stayed at Littleover Lodge for 2 nights in the mezzanine room with our toddler whilst visiting family in the area. The room was huge, albeit a bit basic, with a downstairs area that was great for our toddler to play in, and the hotel provided us with a travel cot for him. Everything was clean and tidy. “Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. “The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and windows that opened enough to provide good airflow. There were a couple of minor issues in the bathroom. The plastic trim around the shower base had a large hole, leaving sharp edges exposed, so you had to be careful not to catch your toes. The light above the mirror also had a bulb out. “What a delightful stay from start to finish. We’ve stayed in a few places during our travels over the past couple of weeks and the Oakhill Hotel outshines them all. We received an exceptional welcome by the staff and their professionalism and friendliness was consistent throughout our stay. The rooms are well maintained, tastefully decorated and recently renovated by the looks of it. The breakfast was lovely and they catered for Gluten Free, which can be a worry when staying away.
