“Our stay at the Cridford Inn was absolutely fantastic. From the room, the staff, the restaurant (we tried the medieval recipes and they were great), the bar and the fabulous breakfast. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The area offers a vast number of walks on the beautiful Moor. ”

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”

“all clean staff briliant and smiling , rooms clean twin beds a bit over soft , but cosy for many someone needs to paint the top of stairs fire door its been scratched to death gives a poor image when everything else is very good there can be road noise but they even supply earplugs if you want them , tea and coffee fine refilled each day meals are good value and well presented full english breaky to die for included pl ”

“I love this little pub - second time I’ve stayed here while passing through. The owners and staff are lovely, the food is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is stunningly gorgeous - I’ve been on some great walks along the Dart River and the other way onto Dartmoor. It’d be a great place to stay for a walking trip. ”

“We had a lovely night at the Inn, perfect for what we needed after 3 days at a music festival! Quiet, beautiful, walking from outside straight into the countryside, a lovely big room and the breakfast hamper was really fab, it all felt very luxurious. ”

“Really lovely pub with rooms. Food was outstanding. Room really comfortable, bed cosy and bathroom well appointed. Rainforest shower head and very good water pressure. Lots of very hot water. Forgot to turn the radiator down meant we roasted overnight but that was our error. Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Pub itself very busy with a good atmosphere, but not noisy or rowdy as it’s a gastro pub. Would definitely recommend and return. ”
