Dear Ms. Valentin, I’d like to formally, in writing express my gratitude and sincere appreciation for the courteous and elegant treatment that my love Rakela and I received this past weekend at your two hotels. A water pipe breaking and shutting down your hotel on a World Cup Internationally fully booked weekend is as bad as it gets in hospitality. In spite of this challenging moment I’d like to thank five of your employees that I dealt with in no certain order. Solange- front desk receptionist moved us quickly in the system and stayed present, caring, classy, professional and attentive - she moved us and without us asking helped us with some of the finances of the room due to missing a birthday celebration. She also followed up with a call the next day to check on us. A tall thin Caribbean Man / very handsome slightly graying bell man who alerted us to the challenges and pre warned us to to start packing and move quickly given the gravity of the situation. Very serious and great demeanor in handling the movement of belongings. Sophia- the Sunday front desk executive who graciously obliged us with a late checkout situation - even though the mounting challenges of the prior days seemed to only cascade and continue to be challenging. She never flinched or hesitated even while the guests close by were expressing their displeasure with that situation. My 5 yr old and I visited your Riu Plaza Miami for a brief vacation for my birthday. Our visit dates were June 15, 2026-June 17, 2026. Both nights we stayed, we had no hot water to shower. I spoke with the front desk about the issue. Maintenance came but only fixed the problem briefly. Lack of hot water is a major discomfort especially on a birthday vacation. When I complained, I was asked “what do you want us to do”. I was also told that a manager would contact me and after following up was told there was no management present to assist in the issue. My daughter and I left around 7 am and could not speak with anyone about the issue. I was told the only way to receive assistance, was to send an email. I also had to use my cell phone if I wanted to use the internet or stream apps to the television. I had to use my phone screen to mirror to the tv. Highly displeased and will not visit again

Yo reservé el hotel president y por ese pagué cuando llegue antes de las 11:00 pm pero ahí me dijeron que debido a la hora me hubicarian en un hotel cercano supuestamente con vista al mar, al Llegar a ese pinguin hotel nos h ubicaron en el tercer piso la Habitación pararece que tenía moho. Eso no fue lo que yo reservé tome una foto del moho en el baño. El edificio es muy antiguo.

Clean room, give you plenty of beach towels and the close proximity to the beach

Great place, great facilities, pick up and drop off are tricky because there is always some action at the hotel. Heavy party crowd
