“I was actually shocked at the room. $200 US a night and no attached bath. Owner needs to make it clear that private bath is down the hall. Receptionist was gracious and worked out a refund for the second night but I would have never booked the room had I known my private bath was down the hall. Room was very sparse for the price. Walls were very thin. Listened to my neighbor clear his throat all night. Just not a comfortable room at all.”

“Hands down our best room in Scotland! The room & bathroom were spacious, immaculate, and warmly decorated. Everything you might possibly need was provided - a plethora of complimentary snacks & beverages, wonderful local soaps & lotions, a hair dryer (lacking in 2 of our previous rooms). Small little kindnesses like a tiny flashlight attached to the room key & umbrellas provided in the room , lots of hanging & hook space. “This is a fabulous cottage right in the middle of the highlands. Perfect location for a quiet stay amid beautiful surroundings that match the charm of the cottage. Rooms are tidy, spacious and comfortable, and have a unique character which really added to our stay. A generous breakfast is served in a beautiful room downstairs by attentive staff. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how helpful and courteous the entire staff was. All in all, highly recommended!”

“Buena ubicación para un roadtrip. Puedes pasear por el pueblito al lado de puente y ver las impresionantes vistas del mismo desde abajo. Algo mediocre la limpieza. Debajo de la cama estaba sucísimo y al moverla un poco para colocarla cerca de la pared para que no cayese el bebé de la cama nos encontramos con hasta restos de comida. El resto del hotel bastante aseado y con buena zona común.”

“Our stay at Glencruitten House was lovely. However, for the price there are a few things that did not exactly meet expectations. First, upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink to enjoy in the sitting room, which was very nice. But there was no direction for what we should do after. We were not offered assistance with bags at check-in, so we went to fetch our own bags after we finished our drinks. When we lugged in our bags we were told “oh someone could have helped you with that”. It was...

“The big nitpick for is lack of parking. Unless you're strictly staying overnight and leaving first thing in the morning you have to pay. It's kind of cheap but it's the principle of already paying for a room.”

“Das Zimmer war schmutzig und bei der Toilette lief das Wasser ununterbrochen. Leider wurde dies nach mehrmaligem Melden nur mangelhaft behoben. ABER das hässlichste war die gebrauchte Unterhose unter dem Bett, welche vom Vorbesitzer war. Unter allen Betten war eine riesige Dreckansammlung.”
