“We were there for a conference weekend. The outside of the building didn't look very welcoming, due to the black bricks, but once inside, it was lovely, welcoming and warm, the staff were attentive and nothing was too small for them. The rooms, the food everything was perfect.”

“We stayed for a night for a birthday celebration. On arrival, the receptionist had informed us that we received a free upgrade on our room! The room was lovely. Lovely decor, felt cosy and very comfortable. The fridge had milk in for our use and a couple of breakfast bits which were complimentary. The reception staff also informed us that we could get free bread & eggs to make in our room for breakfast, we just needed to help ourselves. The bed was also very comfortable. “ The hotel needs a complete refurb. The room allocated to us was of poor quality and standard. There was no wardrobe hanging space for ladies dresses and no drawers for storing other clothes. The plug was missing from the bath and the taps were dripping in the bathroom sink. The positive was that the staff were attentive and helpful and the food (breakfast) was excellent. We would not stay here again.”
