“Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.”

“Pub with rooms,with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Evening staff were warm and welcoming, great evening meal. Breakfast was slightly less relaxed as the waitress was slightly overwhelmed having 4 guests. An extension lead for the kettle in the bedroom would be useful. Also lots of cooking smells in the room and corridors due to the kitchen door being open all the time.”

“We travel to the area regularly to visit family and thought we would give the Cliff a go versus our usual chain hotel choice. Overall our stay was good with a few caveats. The good bits: Restaurant was nice with a pleasant atmosphere food good and reasonably priced, bar prices were also very competitive especially for a hotel, room was well appointed and spacious with a huge bed, cleanliness was good overall. “Immaculate room, very comfortable. Excellent bathroom - good shower, good towels, shower gel provided. Wifi worked fine - no problem connecting and good speed. Staff were very helpful and very friendly - that's the stand-out thing, really, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was everything I'd want and very tasty. A pot of tea (with two teabags) and a pot of hot water meant there was plenty of my favourite beverage. Very happy with the evening dinner from the bar menu...

“Had a lovely stay at this hotel, room was lovely, clean and everything we needed, continental breakfast had plenty of cereal to chose from, yoghurts, cereal bars, toast, fruit, lots of choices of drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again, if we plan to go to this area again.”
