“The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room, which was very spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the rooms seemed to be sound-proof because it was so quiet and relaxing. Livermead beach is located across the street; the beach is beautiful, but the sand disappears at high tide, so be sure to plan your beach day around this. We also loved the stunning views from the rooftop terrace bar. We would love to return to Torquay and stay here...

“Most of the front of house staff were excellent and helpful. Only one obviously didn’t enjoy her work and it showed. The room was large, clean and comfortable but very hot. No air con but a fan was provided which helped. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of hot and cold food. We had dinner one night which was fine. The hotel is in a lovely setting at the top of a hill overlooking the sea. It has tennis courts and a nice pool. We were able to park and given a permit but it was very busy....

“Absolutely perfect couple of days spent here, staff were great! Extra special thanks to Lee who’s always very polite and helpful. Close to the beach and a 10 minute walk into the town. Breakfast was freshly cooked to request, great selection of food. Beautiful gardens to relax in during the evening. Highly recommended”
