“I booked around 6pm and when I got there they didn’t have a room. I was told to look elsewhere for a room and on top of that, they said they wouldn’t give me a refund because it was booked through Hotels.com! What s terrible start. Ages later they went and got the cleaner, who was probably having dinner with her family at 8pm, to ‘prepare a room for me’ which was apparently ‘locked for next season’. Appalling room condition. Very very outdated, damp walls smelled so intensely I couldn’t sleep...

“Wonderful hotel. Antony was exceptionally helpful - he recommended beaches, restaurants, rental companies; regularly checked in with how our stay was going, shared tea and cake with us, and drove us to and from the airport. The hotel was beautiful and very well maintained. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Would recommend!”

“Villa Soula kaliva is an excellent choice of accommodation if coming to Kefalos. Room is kept very clean and the staff are outstanding. The view from the bslcony is second to none. A special mention for Manolis who went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible”

“Although ours was stated as a seaview, it wasn't really, just a very slight glimpse through a bush, but we were ground floor. Also, just 2 nts so not an issue but pointing out in case it's important to you. The apartment was fine for a night or 2, spacious but a bit old fashioned. The kettle didn't work but i borrowed a neighbours and didn't want to complain again as they kindly got the internet fixed when we arrived. I was impressed that was sorted out promptly, and on a Saturday. I gathered...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, which is only a 4 minute walk from stepping off the ferry. As it’s on the harbour front there are some lovely views from the rooms. George & Ginger are lovely hosts and as there are only 10 rooms, they can give you the personal touch. The hotel interior is classical architecture so definitely not Travelodge or Premier Inn!”
