“Our apartment was lovely and clean with two good sized balconies overlooking a pleasant garden and adjacent fields. It had really comfortable beds, allowing a good nights sleep despite the heat, which was really appreciated. We had access to the hotel pool which was superb - lovely, big and not overcrowded. I loved the decor and books in the bar area! The owner Antonis and other staff were always available and keen to help with any queries and were so welcoming and friendly (but never imposing...

“Started off well, but unfortunately ended very disappointingly, with the host calling us names and hanging up on us. Despite trying to call and message afterward, almost a week later we still haven’t received a response. Cons We contacted the hosts because the fridge wasn’t cooling properly and were reassured it was working....

“The pool, with its garden were very nicely maintained. The breakfast was good even if every day the same. We’re amazed that so many previous visitors have given it such a high score and said that it was wonderful. Our room, which was a Premium Double Room with Garden view, looked out on a wall… no garden view at all! The room itself was very very spartan, sad, dated and scruffy… the rooms don’t appear to have been updated or modernised since 1980! The furniture was very basic with lots of...

“The apartment was clean and light with two separate air con units, one for the bedroom and one in the area where the kitchen/second bed were. A welcome basket so you could make hot drinks, plus butter, jam etc in the fridge plus a nice bottle of wine. The kitchen was well equipped other than no ice tray in the freezer which I fed back and am sure will be rectified. All rooms have a nice balcony but due to the position of the property, it does not get the sun directly from afternoon onwards....
