Started off well, but unfortunately ended very disappointingly, with the host calling us names and hanging up on us. Despite trying to call and message afterward, almost a week later we still haven’t received a response.
Pros
The apartment was clean and comfortable, the pool was lovely, and the beach was only steps away. The shower was extremely small, but otherwise we enjoyed the space.
Cons
We contacted the hosts because the fridge wasn’t cooling properly and were reassured it was working. We then bought groceries, which spoiled by the next day. The fridge was replaced and the hosts agreed to reimburse us €35.
When leaving, we suggested deducting the accommodation tax from this amount. The situation then became unnecessarily unpleasant, we were asked for further receipts, called names and spoken about inappropriately in Greek, without the host realising we understood. They reduced the reimbursement to €16, and when we offered to settle for €20, the host continued calling us names and hung up.
As no one deserves to be spoken to or treated like that, we wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else.
