“Misses: Lack outdoor space for exercising. Room corridor is narrow & has a weird stale odor. Canapés at Club M was disappointing. The chefs at Club M should be more engaging with guests. They looked rather hostile! Hits: Adam Hafiz the Senior Duty Manager was excellent. Monica & the Room Reservations team exceeded expectations & prompt in their responses. Keep up the good work. Club M service staff were awesome!”

“The hotel was clean and functional and it was good for my trip to Penang. I was surprised that the Jazz bar in the 29th floor was closed and was looking forward to some jazz nights. Too bad other than that it was good.”

“The rooms are basic and noisy, but the staff is very kind and willing to help. The bar in front of the beach is really nice, beautifull sunsets, and in front of the hotel there is a small night food market perfect to taste local food. ”

“El hotel cuenta con habitaciones amplias, limpias y se sienten nuevas. Como la mayoría de las cadenas el hotel está apostando por eficiencia más que servicio, lo cual es excelente si quieres descansar I dormir cómodamente. Si buscas una experiencia de servicio este quizá no sea el hotel que buscas. La ciudad es pequeña y fácil de caminar por lo que encontrarás buenos restaurantes cerca del hotel.”

“Hotel ya un poco viejo, aunque no está mal, no creo que repitiera, se encuentra en una zona dónde no hay nada. Hotel ruidoso en las habitaciones por culpa de los aires acondicionados. La piscina con mucha gente. El desayuno esta bien, eso si. PMR: Hotel dónde aprovechando las rampas para los maleteros puedes acceder a casi todas partes. Eso si, como casi toda Malasia, no esperes que nadie respete los pasos adaptados donde los alla. Lo normal algo aparcado en la rampa.”

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was equally spacious and well maintained. The overall stay was pleasant and comfortable, as always. Definitely a hotel I would continue to choose whenever I’m in Penang. Highly recommended!”

The history of the building, as well as the Blue Mansion, is fascinating, and adds to the magic of the place. The room was superb - clean and comfortable, with a lovely private courtyard. The main courtyard, where a delicious breakfast was served, is stunning. The staff deserve a special mention - attentive, kind, and always cheerful, and made our stay extra special.”
