Manhattan Financial District at sunset from Jersey
“The Long Exposure Selfie” This is the view of New York City’s downtown financial district as seen from Jersey City, New Jersey. The Freedom Tower stands mightily over the Hudson River where US Airways Flight 1549 had to make an emergency landing after losing both engines to bird strikes. It has popularly come to be known as “The Miracle On The Hudson”. This sight is less than half a mile from the Exchange Place Path train station. One can also reach this place via the New York Water Taxi Service. This place is truly a sight to behold and should be on everyone’s itinerary when visiting The Big Apple!
Fall had ended and the sun was setting early that day! The view of the freedom tower from the exchange place boardwalk was astounding!
