Vacations Close To Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

I hate to give bad reviews, but there are time when it becomes necessary. I found the staff inattentive, my room reeked of stale cigarette smoke (in spite of numerous notices saying it was a non-smoking establishment), and the "free" breakfast inedible (the imitation scrambled eggs cooked to dry crumbs). In addition, in our bathroom I found the shower fixture loose on the wall and an incorrectly installed electric outlet (a large gap between the wall and the fixture). The establishment was tired and warn out. I will not be visiting them again.

Breakfast was understaffed with standard offerings regularly unavailable despite already limited offerings. Decaf coffee, pancakes, cinnamon missing on multiple days. Unusual for an IHG flagged hotel. Custodial staff used common area as lounge and could be quite loud. Cannot be used for business calls on a headset. Rooms were reasonably quiet with acceptable interiors.
