Vacations Close To Boston University

The shared private bathrooms area is a bit of an adjustment but overall a nice mix. If you're looking for a good place to stay in the Back Bay Area. This is it.

This was a very clean and well-looked after property, and the staff went out of their way to check everything was in order.

The Godfrey hotel is definitely in the heart of it all. Easy walk to Boston Commons, and all the T stations. The property is clean and inviting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and kind. Especially when we needed directions! I highly recommend the Godfrey, and will be the hotel I stay at next time I am in Boston.

The hotel location was amazing, that is a huge plus. However, it’s an extremely outdated hotel and there are not many amenities. Our room had no fridge, no safe & a broken closet door. The ice is only on floor 2 and there are chilled water bottle fill up stations on each floor. The only problem is the only actual cold water/chilled station is on the lobby floor. So we had to go from floor 9 of our room, to two additional floors for water and ice, to then go back to our room. The in room dining service was also a bust. We tried calling down to the restaurant for breakfast and the only way we could get the food was by coming down to get it on our own while still having to pay the in room dining service fee. We spent over $325/night and I will definitely be staying elsewhere next time.
