“Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! “Good proximity to Brockenhurst and Lynhurst. Leisure facilities and gardens are very good and staff are helpful. However the hotel rooms needs updating and refurbishing. The restaurant food in the evening is very mediocre eg oven cooked fish and chips. The staff obliged us in changing rooms as above was a very noisy corridor or guest ?? however we were changed to an equally noisy room over kitchen by reception staff. For these reasons we would not return.”
