“This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The owner, Sue, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. “The Wellington Heifer was a great choice for our overnight stop. The welcome was warm and relaxed, the room large, clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. The meal on the evening was of a very high standard, but accordingly priced. You get what you pay for, after all. The breakfast in the morning was promptly served and, again, of a high standard. The check out was as simple as handing the key to the bar staff. Well done to all at the Wellington Heifer for making our stay very enjoyable....
