“We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the inn after we checked into our room. There are lots of stairs so we brought in only what we needed from the car and suitcase for the one night stay. The shower water was way too hot so my husband did not take a shower. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and we enjoyed our stay. We did not have breakfast at the inn the next morning.”

“We stayed in a standard bedroom for 2 nights. The room was very tired and bland. The bathroom had mould around the bath handles and could do with modernising. It was a shame because the building has lovely grounds and communal areas are pleasant too. Staff were friendly and food was good.”
