“Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi. Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at the Shooting Lodge. The lodge was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful setting, beautiful views, and wildlife made it the perfect place to relax. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Shooting Lodge”

“We had a lovely stay at Cuckoo Cottage and would happily return. The location is excellent for exploring the Peak District, with beautiful walks straight from the doorstep, including Lathkill Dale. The swimming pool was a real bonus after a day of walking, and the games room was great fun, with pool, table tennis, darts, giant Jenga and other games available. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the thoughtful extras provided, including tea, coffee, washing-up liquid,...
