Dilapidated building, car got scratched up while there, knocking and loud music until around 4AM. TV went on by itself at around 1AM, 2:37AM, and again around 3:30AM, at which point we unplugged it from the wall. Unfortunately, there was severe weather and we had to delay our trip a day. When I asked if we'd be able to get a refund for one day, I got no response from the property manager. “We were in room 214. That is right above the entrance. Every time the door opened and closed it sounded like thunder in our room. My husband says it needs new bearings. Was very annoying. He suggested that the manager sleep in that room. It might get fixed sooner. Also the air conditioner was very loud. Hair dryers were hanging behind the door in the bathroom. Had to ask where it was. Breakfast was not very good on Saturday but Sunday they had biscuits and gravy that were very good. Staff was...

“The Wellington Cottage has so much to offer, with the number of beds, and bathrooms, and the casita. And it’s so fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms! And then there’s the outdoor area with the lake view and amenities. Wonderful! Hotels.com (Expedia) caused issues with securing the property but the property owner (Aaron) was easy to work with and get the issue resolved.”
