Vacations Close To William W. Backus Hospital

My family booked 3 rooms at this hotel. We were given a 2nd floor room, which was ok. It was clean and cool, but had a slight odor. The next family was given a 1st floor room, which smelled of really bad mildew. When asking for a new room, a helpful man at the desk went to different rooms with my daughter until they found a new room on the 2nd floor. He also commented on some of the rooms smelling really badly of mildew. When the 3rd family members arrived they asked for a 2nd floor room because we wanted them of the smell. They were told by a woman at the desk "oh youust be the sister of the one that had too e her room, may you could just be ok without moving.' What a terrible, crappy comment to make. I can't even imagine that someone would say such a terrible thing because a guest doesn't want to be in a musty, potentially mildew filled room. The front desk person should take a class in manners, customer service, and how to be a decent person in general. Perhaps the rooms should be cleaned so they don't smell of mildew. Perhaps the front desk staff should actually have some common sense. I am disgusted and wish I knew this before we left this morning.

The apartment was wonderful. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Parking was a breeze. The location was fantastic. Close to the park, the university district, and restaurants. Try Marvin Pizza is amazing. We have stayed in a number of places all around the world and your apartment was among the best.

It was clean comfortable and safe. Front desk staff friendly and helpful was handed a paper bag with a few snacks. Very traditional decor like a old mansion not modern at all. Had a small fridge and a coffee maker very basic. They offered a continental breakfast and a regular breakfast lunch and dinner service on certain days. I didn't get to either breakfast because my concert was in Foxborogh. I flew in and out of Boston Logan really far away from Foxborogh and Providence. Hotel, uber and lyft rates are better in Providence a college town location.
