The grounds were peaceful and calm, the interior was well maintained and in its original condition—which is why we chose The Norwich. The hotel is beautiful. There was someone playing a grand piano when we checked in. Our room was spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a view to distant hills. Bottled water was free and readily available. We enjoyed walking around the grounds. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good and the staff delightful. The whole experience was peaceful.

This property is a great place to go to decompress from any of life’s stressors. Its focus is their signature spa which is pretty good. The pool is in need of repair as well as some elements in the men’s locker room. That said the spa menu is vast and has something for everyone. The quiet room and the outdoor lounge area are great pre and post treatment spaces. The 2 restaurants are ok and reasonably priced. The flavors are unique twists on some classics. Our room was upgraded on arrival which was a nice surprise and appreciated. The room was very comfortable and if I had any constructive suggestions it would be do replace the old doors as the existing don’t open easily and the AC is not really controlled from the room as we tried to get it cooler but not able to. Also when it kicked on it was very loud. All said though not worthwhile to call the front desk and complain. All in all this was a much needed relaxing and recharging weekend and would highly recommend others to try. Last word - the staff are all amazing and ready to help with a smile. Special shout out to V the concierge/ driver.

Lovely place, weather did not cooperate so we couldn't take advantage of outside gardens and decorative areas. Inside spas, pool, jacuzzi and sauna were well kept and clean. There staff there were accommodating as they could possibly be- there was a wedding going on that same day. Eventhough your free to roam the facility, it was little awkward waking threw the wedding party. Im sure if we had picked a night were there was no event booked, we would have had a much better experience.

Was a great place to unwind and relax in the spa , the juice bar was a nice touch. Not a great place to go for a husband and wife as the only co-ed amenity was the heated pool between the mens and womans locker rooms. Would be an amazing girls/guys trip so you would be able to enjoy the sauna, hot tub and steam rooms together. Otherwise it was a clean beautiful spa!

The spa was relaxing with very courteous staff. My room was ready early for me to check-in and allowed me to get settled. Front desk staff awas also very friendly. Shuttle was readily avaliable and had a very courteous driver. Food at the bar was very good. Staff also very friendly and accommodating.
