“Rooms a little bit dated, cosy bar area, good breakfast, friendly staff, free parking, good location, over all we enjoyed our stay”

“Met our hosts they were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, our daughter was travelling with us she had a small room next to us. The next morning we had a full English breakfast also cereal and toast if you wanted it. I must mention the back garden like something from a gardening magazine, with a beautiful large pond and water feature.”

“What a great find this hotel turned out to be! Safe parking for our motorbikes, air-conditioned rooms (amazing in this hot spell), plentiful breakfast, friendly staff and a convenient location for local pubs and restaurants.”

“A 3-star hotel / bed-and-breakfast - very personal, friendly service. The hotel is visited daily by locals buying newspapers. All meals cooked to order, including breakfast - a nice change to the usual experience in hotels nowadays. We turned up at about 4.30pm to find opening time was 5pm - we must have missed this in the instructions. The hotel was open promptly at 5 pm however. On the Sunday the bar closed at 5pm so dinner had to be elsewhere - not a problem for us as we always tend to have...
