Hontoon Island State Park Vacation Packages for 2026

HALLWAYS SMELL TERRIBLE!!! Disgusting concept to leave trash in the halls and makes the apartment smell, GROSS!!! The front desk is far from check-in and there is no service to get to your room if you didn't rent a car. Our unit had obvious black MOLD damage that had been repaired in the past but there was NEW mold and a sinking wet ceiling in the primary bath. You could hear the leak coming from the 4th floor. If had stuck a fork in the ceiling, the plaster would have fallen in. Front desk was very unhelpful. Wanted to move but they would not help with a cart to move and the other building smelled the same. Apparently other areas of Vista Cay are nicer but avoid Vista Cay by Millenium at Universal Blvd!

Per my stay found pots and pans old and burnt , AC was not cooling well in the first floor master also I have never heard that you have to buy your own toilet paper once you run out.... Also we had to use the same towels over and over again I never heard a that unacceptable for the amount that I paid. The unit it self was outdated. It was definitely not worth the price that I paid. I will think twice before ever booking there. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Place was ok if all you’re going to do is sleep. There were a lot of issues with our room. Shower door was broke in Master bedroom and wouldn’t close. Ceiling fans were broke, couch was broke and sunk in so bad you couldn’t even sit on it. Property is older and run down. I would spend the extra money and upgrade to the renovated rooms. Unfortunately we will never stay here again but if all you’re doing is sleeping price was decent
