“I had a quick check in and was given a great room which was quiet. The staff were great and really made an effort to look after us over Christmas ”

“No acepten upgrades ni elijan la habitación 4 del interior del castillo, tampoco les recomendaría que se alojarán ,ya que mi experiencia en el no resultó positiva, luego me contestarán con algúna respuesta tipo, pero les aseguro que hay muchos castillos en Inglaterra mejores que este.”

“I booked and paid for 3 nights this week. Before arriving, I called the landline at about 11:45 no answer. On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. Called the mobile number several times and messaged the mobile to inform the person I was waiting to check in. “We had a great stay”

“We really enjoyed our stay for two nights at Battlesteads. Two things really stood out - the food was excellent (except chips - a minor thing), and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming without being overbearing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful . Special thanks to Marcelle and Jackie who couldn’t have done more ! We will definitely return”

“Excellent”

“The room I was allocated was a single bed in a what I can only describe as a converted shed at the rear of the property. Damp and very cramped .. with the toilet 2 feet from your headboard .. awful smell of sewer as well .. £90!? Not worth that at all .. will not return.”
