Heiligengrabe Vacations

Rooms were clean and staff were nice. Also a central area which was great. Couple issues: we had 5 staying in 2 rooms and had to pay for wifi for 3 people as only 2 people under a reservation qualify. Water refill machine was broken the last 2 nights. No mini fridge in one of the rooms. Would be nice to have a coffee maker and microwave in the rooms. Housekeeping came in our room despite asking them not to. Pool was great but wish it was open later. Would stay again because of the cleanliness and staff but just a couple things to note!

I was assigned to a room with full of cigarette smoke smell when I requested for NON-SMOKING room. I am allergic to cigarette smoke. I called front desk immediately, they asked me to wait for the house keeping. I did wait for an hour and a half until the house keeping came and just spray on something which did not help. I finally came down to the front desk to ask for a change of room which they refused to do that due to their full occupancy. Moreover, they blamed on me that I came to inform them late when I did as instructed by them to wait for the house keeping to check on the room. I also told them that this would trigger my asthma and I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. They still insisted to put me into that room which full of cigarette smell. At the end, they sent the house keeping supervisor to check again and offered to put ozone machine to help with the odor. After I came back and the ozone process was done, the smell was better but it still irritated my throat and I had to slept with the mask on. This is the most terrible experience for me.
