“Great local character- clearly a well loved neighborhood place with congenial, family favoured pub! Terrific (large and tasty traditional) breakfast included. One drawback was much softer bed than I am used to. There is a shared bathroom that worked fine for me but might dissuade some. The location between Penzance and Marazion provides easy bus and walking access to both places. (Note that the morning bus is longer than usual due to its routing past local schools.) “It was our first trip to Cornwall and we stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and gave useful tips for our trip, such as taking the train from St Erth to get to St Ives (i.e. don't drive!). We booked this hotel as we wanted to have access to a pool with our young children and the facilities were great, and also included a hot tub. Breakfast was always great and the staff were friendly and attentive, and there are options to cater for coeliacs like myself....
