It was a nice family holiday for us at Treganna. Breakfast buffet was ok, the green spaces inside the estate excellent. Our apartment was clean, unfortunately no one showed up from house keeping in the first 4 days. I was expecting more frequent cleaning when I am staying 7 nights in a hotel. Location wise it has easy access inside the estate to walk down the beach. There are many excellent restaurants around at St ives. It was a peaceful nice and clean hotel. Thank you

The weather spoiled the stay a little, as it was raining all the time during my stay. The facility was plentiful, though the badminton and table tennis courts in the out-building looked slightly tatty. The 2 BR apartment looked clean and we had a very comfortable stay. The shower was difficult to operate. Jose, the restaurant headwaiter was the most helpful and cheerful, and was there all the time. Dinner was good on Saturday though a little restricted on Sunday.

The hotel is located in a very good place near the Saint Ives railway station overlooking the Bay Area which is very scenic. It is maintained very beautifully and has a grand garden where lots of weddings take place, but the hotel itself is old, with rooms not updated to modern standards. If you are a family of four, you have to stay in the same room with no partitions for your kids. They will be on the sofa bed just in front of your bed. There are leisure facilities such as a badminton court, a swimming pool, etc., but surprisingly, they charge for a racket to play badminton. The restaurants are good. There is a bar which has a good number of drinks and they also sell food. The breakfast is good and the rest of the things are all right.

Have stayed here for a long weekend every year since 2022 in a deluxe sea view room, buffet breakfast is lovely too with lots of choices, please note breakfast is £18 pp extra, beautiful spot with amazing views over St Ives but you may need a taxi back up to the hotel from town as it’s a killer hill 😳

It's a really nice report to stay at, with indoor and outdoor pools easily accessible on premise. I was staying at a lodge on the grounds and wifi doesn't work. Reported it a couple of times to reception but nothing happened. Cleaning service in the lodges was non existent.. my bins were full after first 3 days. Had to request toilet paper and fresh towels continuously. Really I didn't mind asking for stuff, the main reason for a lower rating is because no wifi!

Amazing amenities and very walkable to St. Ives main town area. Easier to walk than to drive because parking could be a nightmare to manage. The staff was friendly. Good sized family room. Coffee and biscuits in room, ironing board too. Strange sound from the pipes when showering! The hotel has a warm indoor pool that was deep enough to swim but not so deep you worried about your kids. Staff are friendly. Hotel was pretty clean. Breakfast was good.

Great breakfast. Staff were lovely. Public rooms have been well updated and look great. But our bedroom had had ½ a makeover. New bathroom. But no internal phones, wardrobes are out of the ark, doors have very old lock system. No safe. No interactive tv screen. Hot water very hit and miss. Doors and frames have been repainted but are clearly very old and look very old! The view from the room was awful. Over looking old part of the building, rusting down pipes and unpainted rotting windows. Bed was really hard reminded us of Greek beds! Pillows were old and uncomfortable. Given the price of the room all very disappointing! Spa suite was basic and was fitted in to a basement as best it could be but not very welcoming. No steam room or Sauna. Towels were £1 extra. Really? Position of hotel is great for the views but DONT try to drive into town it's a nightmare for cars and parking is near impossible, walk if your fit else use the local taxis.
