“My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. This crucial restriction, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking, completely undermined the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic and dated. The mattress was so soft it affected the quality of sleep, and the overall condition of the accommodation feels...

“The room was very clean and comfortable. No air conditioning but there was a powerful fan which worked well in 25 degrees. Our only gripe was no milk in the room for tea/coffee. We could have asked downstairs but just had black tea. All in all, a good stay and we will return.”

Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! “We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience.
