“A minor mistake made while booking turned my experience into a complete nightmare. Because of my dyslexia I booked Friday night instead of Saturday night (made the booking the night before, on Thursday). I got an email on Friday asking me how my stay was going, and I realised a mistake had been made. I then spent three hours (!) on the phone trying to resolve the situation, going round the houses. “Vanessa and Steve were exceptional hosts and the facilities at “The Foxes Den” suited us perfectly. Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! We would recommend a stay there to everyone visiting the area for a peaceful and very comfortable night.”

“We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again!”

“The room was very clean and comfortable. No air conditioning but there was a powerful fan which worked well in 25 degrees. Our only gripe was no milk in the room for tea/coffee. We could have asked downstairs but just had black tea. All in all, a good stay and we will return.”

“Reception was an easy check in, no lift to second floor, no help with suitcase. Room was spacious and had everything I needed fan iron tea making things (no dcaff options). Breakfast was basic again no dcaff options (i did ask for dcaff t bags and was told on order) they never appeared, gluten free options very basic no GF bread, the sausage were not nice, menu choices for dinner again very poor I had chips because only option, all staff were lovely. I was at the bar one night ordering...

“Very noisy hotel. Surrounded by the motorway and a road and with a horrible acoustics isolation. The wifi does not work properly. On the positive side, the staff is very professional and nice and the breakfast is very complete. ”
