Vacations Close To Great Smoky Mountains Railroad

The bathroom needed some cleaning attention, mold around the tub. No place to put your shampoo, soap etc. when we first opened the door it had a smell so I went and bought some air fresher and sprayed it several times. Needs to be updated

While the property itself was decent, the overall experience was incredibly frustrating. My villa was located right next to a timeshare showroom, meaning I had to endure the constant slamming of doors from tours all day. To make matters worse, I had no hot water overnight and through half of the next day. When I requested a room change, the front desk claimed the resort was completely booked. However, while standing at the desk, I checked their website and found five identical rooms available for booking. Only after pointing this out—and waiting another hour for a callback—was I finally moved. For the premium price charged here, the lack of basic amenities, poor customer service, and zero compensation for these major inconveniences are completely unacceptable. Someone should be making this right.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ashridge at Smith Creek Resort exceeded every expectation! If you’re looking for an upscale getaway in the Smoky Mountains, this is it. The resort truly has everything you could want. The pool and lazy river are absolutely incredible and create the perfect place to relax, while the cabins are beautifully designed, luxurious, spacious, and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. One of the best parts is the location. You’re only about 6 minutes from grocery stores and everyday essentials, and within 10 minutes of restaurants, dinner shows, shopping, Dollywood, and plenty of places to pick up souvenirs. Even downtown Gatlinburg is only about a 23-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy everything the Smoky Mountains have to offer without staying in the middle of the crowds. What impressed me most was how versatile this resort is. During our stay, we saw family reunions, bachelorette parties, church groups, couples, and families with children all enjoying themselves. There truly is something for everyone. Whether you’re planning a weekend escape, a family vacation, or a large group gathering, Ashridge at Smith Creek Resort is the perfect destination. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Loving the wood floor. most of hotels I've stayed used carpet, which is not friendly to allergic people, and besides, wood floor can be better cleaned up than carpet floor. Bed is bigger than I expected, some hotels say queen size but actually felt like double size, this hotel has the true queen size bed, pillow are comfortable as well. Bathroom: love the rain shower, plenty of counter space, towels are big and thick but slightly harsh instead of soft, shampoo and body wash smell ok. ac/heating: pretty quiet. windows have sheer and shade double layer, both operated by buttons, blackout well, soundproof not so good, can easily hear the neiboring room shower on. housekeeping was ok: in the morning when we went out, only half paper roll left, but when we came back to the hotel room at night, no more paper roll provided, later we ran it out, i need to go to the front desk to ask for one; also the housekeeping didn't do a good job at making bed; hotel location: wonderful, right in Gatlinburg downtown, 2mi several min driving into the NP, while at night it's quiet enough so we don't hear the downtown noise. parking: plenty of parking spots, there are also certain covered parking, kind of small and a little difficult to backout, but it's covered parking so not too much to complain, on the Expedia it didn't mention if parking cost extra or not, it actually is included in the $20/day extra charge.

Everything was good with the property, communication was great, convenient to everything, price was reasonable and will be back and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you for having us!
