“The brasserie food was amazing in the restaurant but the service was terrible. We had a 40 minute wait between finishing our main and being offered a desert menu. The main problem was that we chose this hotel as it had a later check out time of 11am. However on approaching the hotel at 6pm we saw road closure signs starting at 9.30 the next morning for a half marathon. “Check in was easy, big space, bathtub, really comfy bed, fridge, washing machine...it was great! Only issue was the satellite was a bit spotty and the street behind the building, Prince of Wales, seemed a bit run down. Quite a few boarded up places and noticed a sign for a"gentlemen's club". Ick. But it was just a short walk to the cathedral and market. ”

“What a super hotel. I was on a business trip so this was a perfect place to stay. Extremely friendly welcome, incredibly comfortable room, bed was so comfortable. We were able to have a very delicious supper which is great after a long day of travelling. Very clean and delicious breakfast - only one complaint.... the coffee at breakfast was very weak! A super hotel! Hight recommend! ”
