“Needed a place to stay when seeing a concert in Scarborough. The price was very good, got there and there were clear instructions on how to get in the property which was very secure. The rooms were really clean and plenty of parking by the hotel as well. Had all the things needed for a stay. Staff communicated well in terms of payments and codes to access the rooms. We were able to get breakfast downstairs the next morning and it was value for money.”

“We decide to stay at Molton, not York due to the relatively higher price of the York hotel and our trip plan. It proves to be a good choice. The property located in a small and quiet town with about 10-15 minutes walk to the railway station. It may look normal from outside but when you step in, you would be impressed by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The first floor is the restaurant and a bar, with so many selections. The room was super clean and you can tell everything was so well maintained. ...

“The room was clean and bright, the pull out sofa bed was a bit short for an adult and we weee above the kitchen which was noisy at closing but done by 10pm. Great staff, pretty location.”

“The bedding and towels were of good quality and the room was clean however the general state of maintenance was very poor. The ensuite smelled of rot as evidenced in the state of the bath surround. The fan sounded like a jet engine. The window was almost impossible to put up or down but needed to be up to dissipate the smell of the bathroom. The hallways also smelt musty and there are lots of stairs up and down with your luggage. I would not stay here again.”

“Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...
