Vacations Close To George Washington National Forest

Fantastic little place. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Clean, newly remodeled room with comfortable bed. I’ll definitely be making this my new stopping point when traveling to the OBX.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Our room and amenities were exactly as they were shown and reviewed. There's so much thought and detail in every area. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful suite that consisted of a living area with beautiful coffee bar, small frig and microwave. The decor and furnishings were so beautiful. The bathroom not only had a gorgeous shower but the floor marble tiles were heated! The bathroom was large with a nice size vanity and huge mirror. Our Friday night stay was a little loud outside pretty late. There was a big wedding reception at The General Lewis and we could hear the loud music. It finally quieted down around midnight. Sat night was nice and quiet! We really enjoyed the convenient location. We will be staying again in the future.

The property was pretty clean, no bugs, but the room smelled very strongly of disinfectant, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, and there should have been one or two more towels. The bed was very comfortable.

Brunch on the front porch was delicious!

Everything was well maintained and up-to-date, which isn't always so at most hotels, even higher end places. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful, except for Dustin in the breakfast area. He was unfriendly and condescending. Breakfast was better than most similar hotel breakfasts.

This Holiday Inn is one of the most economical Holiday Inn’s and it is also the nicest Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in. Service is always good and the property is clean. The gentleman working the breakfast was very attentive to guests and made sure the food was always brought out when something got low.
