“All the staff super friendly and the room was very big and clean. The mattress wasn’t great though and the noise travelled through the rooms- people above were quite noisy. Breakfast had good options but the scrambled egg on toast wasn’t great- should’ve done the full English! Would stay again but the bed could be comfier and hopefully not as noisy people above next time.”

“Room was small but had everything you need. Few shops and places to eat in walking distance. The food they served all just seem to come with chips and was abit overpriced.”

“For the money was ok. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed comfy and the water hot. Four steps down to the bathroom, which seemed odd. The pub itself is in desperate need of a re-vamp. Very tired. Also, the staircase to the room a bit grim Also noticed cigarette butts on floor outside that were there when we arrived and still there two days later. Although would probably not stay again, I felt safe, and parking fine.”

“Excellent location for the racing - stayed 3 nights in total which included parking. It was a little run down but very good value for money. Had microwave, kettle and fridge in the room, with tea coffee sugar and milk. Room was clean, a little run down in places with marks on the wall etc, windows a little dirty, but nothing overly bad.
