“The Stone Chalet B&B Inn is a beautiful property. The rooms are unique and interesting. The gardens are lush and perfect for relaxing in. I was impressed by the excellent breakfast provided as well as their helpful and friendly staff. The inn sits within a terrific neighborhood that is nice walk to downtown Ann Arbor. I look forward to staying here again.”

“So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. “Absolutely one of the most charming stays I have ever had in the states! The attention to detail from the linens, bath robes, towels, le labo soap and shampoo and conditioner (my ABSOLUTE fave brand), To name a few are extraordinary! The feel! The downstairs rooms to do work. No TVs in the room, so you can turn off! The landscaping outside The neighborhood SARAH!!! Incredible! I could go on and on Unless they are booked, I won’t hesitate ever staying here when I’m in Detroit! Wish we had...

“Had a wonderful stay at the Frederick Stearns House Historic Inn. The owner was there most of the time to answer any questions and provided some great information on the history of the Inn and surrounding area. She also prepared very delicious breakfasts. The room was large and comfortable and there are many interesting decorations throughout the Inn.”

“The sisters that operate their bed and breakfast. We're so hospitable and their property is beautiful, unlike any place we have ever stayed before. We stayed here for a Lions game, the location is perfect. You can see the stadium from the window. Great location, beautiful property and the most wonderful owners. They cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if you are visiting Detroit, this bed and breakfast is five stars”
