“The owners were lovely, friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Although there is no onsuite toilet the ones available were very clean. In our room we did have our own shower room. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quite B&B”

“Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the room was beautiful, a travel cot was provided for my baby and my bed was very comfortable, one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. The hosts were so attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very family friendly! I will definitely be back and would 100% recommend to anyone 👌”

“There’s no on‑site parking for overnight stays, but the car park is just around the corner and only a few minutes’ walk away. The guest house is close to everything, with a small Morrisons conveniently located at the end of the road. The couple who run the guest house were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and had everything we needed — soap, shampoo, towels, tea and coffee. I would stay again, though I’d request a lower floor next time. I paid £80 for one night for...

“Whole stay was disgraceful. On arrival there was no record of the 2 rooms I had booked. After proving the booking through Expedia, the manager told us to cancel our Expedia booking to get things sorted. One room put in neighbouring hotel. Both rooms had a new price which took an original quote of £550 up to £850. The hotel was more akin to a construction site than a hotel as the owners claimed to have only taken over the hotel 2 months prior, were revamping the place and were 'opening' on the...

“Staff were very welcoming & helpful. rooms, bedding and towels were clean and also had a fan in our room. (Family room) on our last day our train home wasnt until 3pm and he let us keep our suitcase in storage and go back for it before we went for the train whilst we enjoyed afew more hours in the centre. Would definitely stay again.”
