“We were traveling with a pet, and booked here to be in striking distance of downtown Halifax with a short drive. Staff were cheerful and efficient, rooms were clean and up-to-date. We did not use the pool, but many families staying here were enjoying it immensely. We liked having safe places to walk a dog, including a small pocket park diagonal to the hotel, and a nice variety of walkable restaurants (less than 100 meters away!) in the adjacent shopping center. Would definitely stay here...

“We had a wonderful stay here! The breakfast-to-go package was so kind and thoughtful. The view was stunning. The food in the downstairs restaurant was great! It was awesome not to have a TV in the upstairs unit. They have games available which were fun. The futon bed wasn’t very comfortable for the kids and the floors were not clean but otherwise was a fantastic little place.”

“Awesome stay at Flowedge. 1st time staying in a Dome and would definitely do it again over a hotel room or other accommodation. Flowedge has theirs in a great location too! - The only downside for us was the hot tub was unusable for all the bugs/worms that were loving the moistness of the wood at the time of our stay. We got to enjoy everything else though! Would return for sure! ”

“When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.”
