We stayed at the Forth Lock the night before an early morning flight. The B&B is close to the airport and the Resturant is a great place to eat. The rooms are efficient and being able to have a nice dinner in the same building is a great feature. I can see us booking the whole "house" if we were doing something in Halifax.

Shared livingroom was clean & tidy No ridiculous noise levels (yes I heard talking and music but wasn’t over powering) Room was clean and shower. Perfect little getaway ! Our 2-room unit was ready for us, however the bathtub had not been cleaned so was not usable, and the heating fan did not work in the main room so it was cold in one bedroom room and hot in the other. bedroom The beds weren't made up with a top sheet, only the duvet/comforter, which is not standard in a hotel or guest house. The restaurant food was delicious however.
