The two ladies running the bar and waiting on tables were totally rushed off their feet as they were also checking clients into hotel, booking breakfasts, taking food orders and answering queries. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.”
