“Nice old southern house with high ceilings and wood creaking floors that are uneven. Bed was clean and comfortable , I slept well. However, the bedroom door did not shut, it was swollen and didn't fit into door. Bathrooms had hook and loop locks. TV was not operating and not connected to WiFi. Breakfast was not delicious and having breakfast with people you don't know that have bad table manners isn't a turn off. There is a nice town park walking path behind the house. “The character & history were unbelievable, but the staffing was less than ideal. We didn’t see a single person there. Checkout time was pretty early & if you don’t get to breakfast early, you will miss out. There wasn’t even any coffee left. Glad I got a chance to stay there, but I’m not sure I’d go again…”

I was traveling for a work conference, so this was a very cozy, quiet, and relaxing place to stay to recharge after a very long day of traveling, learning, and networking. “The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful.
