“Good location for Doncaster racecourse/snow dome, free parking which is a bonus. Hotel has a main building with reception and bar/restaurant room for breakfast. Rooms are in the annex. Slightly tired looking but room was clean and serviceable for a 1 night stay and staff were helpful as we had some problems accessing room/paying due to a powercut in the area(which I believe isn't uncommon in that area of Doncaster?). “We only stayed overnight as at a wedding at Hodsock Priory, this is an ideal hotel for the venue as only few minutes away. The rooms are lovely, very clean and modern, I particularly liked the mirrors in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, good choices available and just what we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We want to go back and try the evening meals another time. Definitely recommend the hotel though.”

“Booked 3 rooms at the Mercure Danum Doncaster Centre hotel and it was a mistake. The hotel was a shambles unfortunately. In our room the toilet still had poo stains and the shower gel bottle was broken - couldn't dispense the liquid inside. Our guest's room was unclean and there was someone chain smoking next door - the corridor reeked of cigarette smoke. He found blood stains on his curtains as well. “Lovely family run property with character. Large car park across the road £6.50 for 24 hrs (hotel has small carpark at back). Ideal walking distance for Racecourse and town centre.”

“The car GPS wasn't very good but I managed to use the directions on my phone. The rooms are across the road from the actual hotel. The food was really tasty especially the Full English breakfast which was inclusive. The Accessible room was very comfortable& the wet room was great, just what I needed. Definitely recommend this place.”
