Can't really complain too much at a £30 night stay. Room was spacious, bed/linen was clean. No plug sockets near the bed which was a tad inconvenient. Had tea/coffee making facilities and a small TV.

It was an amazing place to stay, very clean and calm, though the heating wasn’t coming up and it was actually cold which I did report but nothing was done about it but apart from that it was a lovely place to stay.

“Couldn’t fault anything about our stay. The room was clean and very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and a spacious shower. There was plenty of hanging space for clothes, which was really useful, and the hairdryer was a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfy and made for a great night’s sleep. The man on reception was so friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Would definitely stay again!”

For the price, there’s really nothing to complain about. Room was clean, and covered all the basics. Tea bags as well as instant coffee would have been nice but shower was fine and bed comfortable. It’s not the quietest but not noisy either- from downstairs you can hear some upstairs noise and doors opening and closing. Check in was easy and free parking. Location ideal for Meadowhall, arena etc - 10 mins by car.

Everything was fine but the wet room was not in the best condition. There was metallic rust on a bar in the bathroom and strains between the tiles near the shower head and part of another wall there. The wet room needs repair ultimately. Also the remote control for the TV had a whole at the bar and putting black electrical or insulation tape to cover it didn't help as it kept moving slipping away from the whole when handing the remote control to change channels. Please look into this for that room on the ground floor. Other than that the hotel is usually a lovely comfortable and clean place to stay at a cost effective price with tea, coffee and milk sachets, kettle, free and easy parking and helpful staff.

On arrival, I was given a sheet of paper to fill in, but it was so badly printed that I could not read it! The room was spacious, with a walk in shower, kettle and tea and coffee. However, the wifi did not work for me, and the TV kept cutting out, but the bed was comfortable. In the morning, there was no water from the taps, so I could not use the lovely looking shower; I had to wash with water from the kettle, from the previous evening. I feel that the staff should have been warning guests about the problem, and offering a reduction in the price, but no such empathy was forthcoming. I shall not be returning.

The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order.

Everything was good, breakfast was not good, do not opt in for breakfast, they have a very small menu and only pastries and breads (not many options) are buffet , they do not have a coffee machine so you have to order and then they give you a black coffee made of instant coffee doesn’t taste good, you also have to place an order for eggs and they were okish

2 light bulbs didn’t work, so only had the big light or 1 bed side light. Carpet and bed base were dirty…stained. Lift didn’t work, which we weren’t told about. Room had clean linen and towels. Plenty of coffee and milk. Plenty of parking.

Avoid short version staff amazing. Decor dirty, smelly, ripped stain carpets on landing and in room. Rooms spacious comfy beds but don't except to sleep 😴 doors banging kids screaming and running up and down corridors and prostitutes leaving around 5am standing outside broadcasting and comparing notes with each other... don't bother complaining staff knew about the prostitutes outside as they kicked them out off reception for being loud

Lift was out of order. Door card didn't work so had to go back to reception. Bloke on reception didn't apologise for the card not working, just told me "it is working" despite the fact that I had just tried it! He finally sorted and just shoved it back at me. Thank you! Room was extremely warm (we stayed May Bank Holiday and we certainly did not have a heatwave!). One bed was horribly soft with no support whatsoever. Pillows were very poor quality and almost non existent. Hotel was extremely noisy - there must have been a few families staying at the same time who knew each other as the kids were running between rooms, up and down the corridors shouting and screaming, banging on the doors and parents were shouting to each other from one end of the hallway to the other to "talk" to each other. Finally quietens down and we get woken up in the early hours by a couple of blokes who have clearly had an awesome night out. They spent ages in the corridors having a very loud discussion about their pub*c hair and then singing about it! Have stayed before but won't book again after this. There must have been a change of ownership for it to have gone down hill so quickly
