“We loved that the hotel was so central to where we needed to be. The hotel exudes charm and the furnishings really lean in to the old-time vibe. The bed was so large and comfy! Breakfast was delicious with a really thoughtful selection showcasing local produce and the chef’s expertise. Thank you for a lovely weekend.”

“We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks.”

“First impressions of the hotel were excellent and overall it is a lovely place with generally attentive staff. All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not. We had been allocated room 6 and on opening the door there was an interesting staircase which split in two at a small landing with one set of stairs going to the bedroom, with the other leading to the shower room. “My and my friends stayed for 2 night , staff were very nice and helpful. Walking distance everything you need. Good pubs and restaurants and of course Cathedral and castle. Breakfast was excellent with amazing views. Parking is a little bit of tricky.”
